Bernhardt Furniture places the highest value on craftsmanship and quality. Each piece of furniture is carefully designed and crafted to ensure the best levels of durability and aesthetics. To enhance customer confidence, Bernhardt offers a comprehensive warranty program that covers defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal residential use.

How to Proceed if You Observe a Defect:

In the event of a manufacturing defect, you should immediately notify the authorized retailer from whom you purchased the product. All warranty claims must be submitted to the original retailer along with your receipt and photographs of the defect.

Bernhardt’s warranty is limited to repair or replacement and does not cover incidental or consequential damages. Some states may have specific laws that override these limitations.

Warranty Coverage by Category

Casegoods & Upholstered Beds Limited Warranty

Bernhardt warrants its casegoods (wood furniture and storage pieces) and upholstered beds against material and workmanship defects for three (3) years under normal residential use.

Exclusions & Conditions:

Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is void if resold or used commercially.
Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper maintenance, or exposure to sunlight, liquids, or chemicals is not covered.
Natural variations in wood grain, veneer patterns, and color changes over time are not considered defects.
If a defect is confirmed, Bernhardt may choose to repair or replace the item with an equivalent product.

Upholstery Limited Warranty

Bernhardt's residential upholstered furniture is protected under a comprehensive warranty covering different components:

Reclining & Sleeper Mechanisms
Non-electronic recliners	3 Years	Covers defects in materials and craftsmanship.
Electronic reclining parts	1 Year	Includes motors, switches, and related components.
Sleeper mechanisms	3 Years	Covers defects in materials and craftsmanship.

Exclusions & Conditions:

Natural wrinkles, scratches, or stretch marks in leather are not considered defects.
Fabric protection treatments not applied by Bernhardt may void the warranty.
Exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or chemicals can affect upholstery and is not covered.

Outdoor Furniture Limited Warranty

Bernhardt outdoor furniture is designed for durability and carries a three (3) year warranty, with certain components having different coverage periods:

Exclusions & Conditions:

Outdoor furniture must be properly maintained to prevent deterioration from environmental exposure.
Variations in wood grain, natural stone imperfections, and fabric texture are not considered defects.

Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

This warranty applies only to the stated warranty conditions and does not include any implied warranties, such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except for the stated duration. The remedies set forth herein are the only remedies available and exclude all other remedies, oral or written.

Bernhardt is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the sole use or inability to use the product.

Note: Some states may have specific laws regarding implied warranties and limitations of damages. Therefore, these exclusions may not apply in certain areas.
